CORE VALUES
OUR NAME MEANS

The Victory House...

describes the power of the finished work on the cross alive in every believer. It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that we are empowered to victoriously overcome. The Word of God states that we can overcome just as Jesus Christ has overcome. “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God" (1 John 5:3-5).

The word “House” is a depiction of the Spirit of God inhabiting both the lives of each individual believer, as well as the corporate community of believers. “Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.  And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit” (Ephesians 2:19-22).

Our prayer is that the name, “The Victory House,” will not only describe the lives of those in our community who have put their faith in Christ, but will draw those who are in need of a Savior.
